They are ALL Mad Scientists!!!
Approximately 75 children, from preschoolers through 6th graders, have participated in the 2009 Summer Reading Program, during three sessions each Wednesday. We've learned about the scientific method, different kinds of scientists, and what scientists do. We've had fun making hypotheses, and then testing those with experiments. We've learned that sometimes our hypotheses are wrong, and sometimes our hypothesis is correct, but our experiment doesn't work. So, we've also learned that if it doesn't work the first time, change a variable, and try again!
