Present:  Sheila Wilkie, President; Meridel Buscher, Vice President; Carolyn Kelly, Secretary; Lori Schafer; Amy Taul, Kathy Bray; and Chris Dawdy, Head Librarian.  Visitors were Hannah Price, Molly Price, and James Ganter.

Our visitors made a presentation of monetary donations for the June Ganter Memorial Fund, which they have requested be used for development of a children’s room at the library.

Minutes from the May meeting were read and approved.

Financial Reports were read and approved.

Head Librarian’s report indicated that during the month of May, we had 1254 patrons in the library; 1 adult program with 9 adults in attendance; 2 children’s programs with 11 children in attendance; 1885 items checked out; 305 items added to the shelves, with 15,145 items in the inventory; 208 patrons using the computers; 710 in-town patrons; and 223 out-of-town patrons.

Monthly bills were reviewed and approved for payment.

Old Business:  discussed plans for fundraising, the summer reading program, the cost of using OCLC (Library of Congress resources).

New Business:  learned that the parking lot to the north of the library is owned by the library, and should be available to be used by library patrons; approved starting an "Adopt-a-Book" program.
