Who We Are
The Brighton Memorial Public Library is located at 110 North Main Street in Brighton, Illinois.
The Brighton Memorial Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the Brighton city limits, with services available to others within the Southwestern Community Unit School District #9, for an annual fee of $28.50 per family.
The mission of the Brighton Memorial Public Library is to serve the informational, cultural, and recreational needs of all of Brighton's residents regardless of age or educational background. It is our goal to provide programs for patrons of all ages, encouraging reading of printed and other materials which will contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, to formal education, and to informal self-education, to the profitable and pleasurable use of leisure time, and to the general enrichment of life.
Did you know . . .
- The Brighton Memorial Public Library offers free delivery and pickup of books for disabled persons. Call the library at 372-8450 for more information.
- Copy and fax machines are available for public use at the library. Copies are 25 cents per page. Faxes are $1.00 per page (to send or receive).
- Computers with internet access are available for patron use. Use of the printer is 25 cents per page.
- The Brighton Memorial Library has a wide selection of books, videos, audio books, and music CD's, which can be checked out for two weeks.
- Materials can be reserved or renewed by phone (372-8450), fax (372-7450), or e-mail (bte@lcls.org).
- Patrons can reserve Coming Soon books prior to their arrival to the library.
